Marguerite (Mickey) May Dundee

On January 7, 2019, God was blessed with another Angel. She passed away at the age of 89 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She will be greatly missed by her three daughters, Diana, Kimberly, and Judie; her three sons-in-laws, Cary, Michael and Mark; and nine beautiful grandchildren, Barrett & wife Emily, Zachery, Nicole &husband Travis, Joshua, Caitlin & husband Sean, Tracy, Kevin, Paige, and Michael.  Her legacy is also blessed with five great grandchildren; Barrett, Genevieve, Adelaide (Addy), Olivia, and Patrick.

Mickey was born in New York on July 25, 1929 and moved to California in 1954. When she wasn’t caring for her daughters, she pursued her many passions. Her passions were dancing at the Elks, playing the organ, and enjoying time with her family.  Mickey also had a great, witty sense of humor. She always loved to laugh at herself and had the cutest laughter. This is one of the many personality traits that made her so enjoyable to be around. She exuded this cheerful spirit in everything she did, including her hobbies of painting, gardening, cooking, and loving her animals.  What really distinguished Mickey is her love and compassion. She was very nurturing and willing to lend a hand to her family and friends.

The family is having a memorial service on Friday, January 18th at 10 in the morning at O’ConnorMortuary. The graveside service and reception areprivate. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you follow Mickey’s example and bring a smile to someone’s face and adopt a furry friend. She will be missed so much!
