George Timothy Boyle, 65, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

Beloved husband of Peggy Boyle (nee O’Connor) for 42 wonderful years.  Loving Father of Thomas (Courtney), Daniel (Kristen) and the late George Ryan Boyle.  He was the proud and loving Grandfather of Ryan, Rachel, Connor, Nolan and Michael Boyle.  They were the sunshine of his life.

He was born in Evergreen Park, IL to the late George and the late Jean Boyle (nee Conroy). He was the son-in-law to the late Thomas and the late Theresa O’Connor.  He is also survived by his brother, Patrick (the late Lynn) and his sisters,  Adrienne (Chris) Farrell and Jean (Doug) Blair and the late Maureen (Steve) Murphy. George lived life to the fullest.  He was friends with everyone and touched the hearts of anyone he came in contact with.  He will be greatly missed, but I guess some flames just burn so bright that they cannot burn as long.

    Peggy and Family:

While I only had the pleasure of meeting George a few times via Kevin and Jeanine Bush, I feel like I know him, based on the numerous stories that Kevin has shared. I am deeply sorry for your loss. It is always difficult losing a loved one, especially in your case – George was one of the “good guys” in life, and such a treasured friend of Kevin’s. You are in my prayers – especially during the upcoming holidays. May God surround you with comfort and grace to walk through this.

We were so fortunate to have met George & Peggy through the warehouse insurance captive. Within a short time we became friends and made sure every captive trip included time and excursions w. George – from canoe rides into indigenous villages, helicopter ride that made George turn green, late night cigars on the beach to watching sunsets and great restaurants. George lived life to the fullest. We will always have a special place in our hearts for George.

Next trip to South Bend will include a trip to teh Grotto to light a candle in George’s memory.

    With love and admiration,

    Doug & Carrie Sibila

    Peggy and the Boyle Family:

George was an exceptional man and we will miss him dearly. His kindness extended to all, his love of life enriched all of those he touched, his sense of humor lightened the load. I will miss the scotch and cigars, but not half of the wine bill ” Governor” . Rest in peace my friend. The world is a worse place without you in it.

    With our love and condolences,

The lights of the world have dimmed with the departure of George. The extent to how deeply he touched so many lives is evident in the comments by so many. There is never a good time for exceptional people to leave the earth, but this is an especially difficult time given that the holidays signify unity among family and friends. My deepest and sincerest condolences to Peggy, their children and grandchildren. May God keep you strong, sane and resolute throughout this trying time.

George was a respected member or our organization, but more so he was a warm hearted person who made friends easily. In the past year and a half, George loved sharing his views on business, politics and wine! It was a shock to learn of his passing and he will be missed greatly! He loved his community, he loved to learn and he loved to do. George was a unique soul and loved helping everyone be a better version of themselves. Our sincere condolences to George’s Family at this difficult time. Warm regards and prayers!
