Esther Lorraine Wiltchik

Esther Wiltchik, age 88, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 6, 2021. She was born Jan. 22, 1933 in Pittston, PA. She was the daughter of the late Paulina and Guiseppe Tuminelli. Esther, a graduate of Pittston Area High School, worked as a diamontologist and sales consultant for Littman Jewelers and Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a volunteer for Women’s Clubs as well as for the local Jr. Rams football team before moving to California.

She moved to Bakersfield, CA with her husband Dave and enjoyed playing golf regularly as a member of the Sundale Country Club. Upon Dave’s retirement, she moved to Irvine to be closer to family. She enjoyed spending time with her family always supporting her children and grandchildren’s activities and events. She enjoyed her network of friends with regular visits to movies and friend gatherings. She also enjoyed the theater and traveling especially on cruises.

She will be missed and leaves behind: son Brian Selenski, daughter Sandra Murphy, son Guy Selenski, grandchildren Brad Selenski, Paige Selenski, Brandon Murphy, Austin Murphy, Kayla Selenski, and Corey Selenski, great-grandchild  Nathan Murphy, and her brother Cataldo Tuminelli.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Selenski in 1981, her second husband David Wiltchik in 2014, her sisters Sue, Teresa, Sarah, and Mary, and her grandchild Greg Selenski.

Services: Calling hours at O’Connor Mortuary will be Thursday, April 29^, 2021, from 2-4 at 25301 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Funeral Services will be held Friday,  April 30, 2021, at 10 am, St. Thomas More Church, 51 Marketplace, Irvine, CA 92602.  Burial will follow at Pacific View Cemetery, Corona Del Mar, CA.
