Bonny Dawn Meyer

Bonny Dawn Meyer was a loving and gracious wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister and friend who always took the time to assist others. Bonny had known Jesus since she was a young girl and was a member of the United Methodist Church all her life.

Bonny Dawn Meyer, 91 died Monday, September 21, 2020 in Laguna Hills, CA. Born in Mount Vernon, IL to the late Ray Newby Summers and Genevieve (Ellis) Summers. Bonny graduated from St. Vincent Infirmary, Little Rock, AR as a Registered Nurse in 1950. In 1951 Bonny Dawn Summers married John Marshall Meyer. Bonny served as a nurse in the fields of urology in Little Rock, AR, obstetrics at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK and industrial nursing with Bell Labs in northern NJ. She was active in the Hanover Garden Club in NJ during the 1960’s, co-owner of BON-MAR and a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK. Bonny joins her husband John and their infant son, John Christopher Meyer in Heaven. She is survived by her son, Kendall Raymond Meyer of Billings, OK; daughter, Denée and husband, John Parker; grandchildren, Stephen, Nikolai and Svetlana of Laguna Niguel, CA; brother Charles E. Summers of Kewanee, IL and seven nephews and nieces.

 

Memorial service will be at 2PM, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at O’Connor Mortuary in Laguna Hills, CA. Contributions may be made to The Angel Fund at Billings Fairchild Center at 202 E.
