After 3 years at a funeral home in Florida, Joanna made her way to O’Connor and started working in our Care Center in 2006. A graduate of Cypress College, Joanna is a licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director and Crematory Operator. Her drive, honesty, conviction and leadership skills landed her in the role of General Manager. An absolutely critical part of our day-to-day, Joanna is a focused leader who always finds a way to say, “Yes, we can do that.”

Born and raised in LA, Joanna now lives in Sunset Beach where she can be regularly found with her husband and two children. They deeply enjoy their time together and try to get away on road trips as much as they can.

The life philosophy she abides by is, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
